Dolomiti Casa is based in Trentino Alto Adige, in northern Italy, in the town
of Cavalese.
Val di Fiemme is one of the Dolomite valleys of eastern Trentino, close to Val di Fassa.
It lies between two natural parks: the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Natural Park, and the
Monte Corno Park in Alto Adige.
In winter it is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders with 110 km of ski runs in 5 ski resorts: Ski
Center Latemar, Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia, Alpe Cermis, Passo Lavazè – Passo Oclini, and Passo Rolle.
Each ski resort is equipped for competitive skiing with training runs and tracks laid out for all levels.
At Pampeago (Latemar) and Alpe Cermis there are fixed automatic stop-watch timing and video
recording systems. The Latemar and Alpe Lusia resorts instead provide snowparks with half pipes
and boardercross for the joy of snowboarding fans.
The Alpe Cermis piste is also open and illuminated at night.
The summer season in Val di Fiemme offers evocative excursions in the Dolomites, walks, theme paths, horseback excursions, and panoramic mountain biking routes.
In 2013, as in 2003, Val di Fiemme was chosen as the venue for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.
The most important events include the Marcialonga, the most famous Italian cross-country skiing competition, which is held between Moena (the fairy of the Dolomites) and Cavalese over the last weekend of January.
